Redondo Beach Weekly Crime Report: Burglary And Robbery Cases From March 27-April 2
Redondo Beach Police has released a recap of all crimes reported between March 27-April 1, other than ones still being investigated.
Redondo Beach Police has released a recap of all crimes reported between March 27-April 1, other than ones still being investigated.
According to the recap, five residential burglaries were reported during the time period, as well as two vehicle burglaries, a car theft, and a stolen catalytic converter.
The two vehicle burglaries took place sometime between the night of March 28 and the following morning. In one, which happened on the 1100 block of Barbara Street, a 2016 Hyundai Tucson SUV had its driver's side lock broken, and miscellaneous property taken, including a camera, medical card, California ID and foreign currency.

In the other vehicle burglary, which took place on the 100 block of North Helberta Avenue, a white 2023 Toyota Camry SUV was burgled by a man and woman of unknown age and ethnicity. They stole from the car cable boxes with a remote; a temporarily disabled placard, miscellaneous clothing, a tote bag; and a set of golf clubs in a black bag.
In another case, a catalytic converter was stolen from a white 2020 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on the 2700 block of Dufour Avenue the night of March 26 and the following morning.
