Redondo Beach Woman Killed In Torrance Car Crash: Cops
Torrance Police have identified a Redondo Beach woman as the victim of a fatal single-vehicle car crash on Wednesday morning.
REDONDO BEACH, CA — A Redondo Beach woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal single-vehicle car crash in Torrance.
Ashley Wells, 23, of Redondo Beach, died at the scene of a crash that occurred at around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at 190thStreet and Crenshaw Boulevard, according to the coroner’s office and the Torrance Police Department.
Video from the scene showed a badly-damaged vehicle in the intersection surrounded by debris. The intersection was closed in both directions Wednesday morning, and drivers were asked to avoid the area.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
