Redondo Beach Woman Wins $41,000 On 'Price Is Right'

Her prizes included $11,000 cash, new kitchen appliances, a trip to South Africa and a stay in a luxury treehouse in Oregon.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – Susan Balboni, a Redondo Beach woman, won the Showcase Showdown on "The Price Is Right" Wednesday, worth a grand total of $41,000. Balboni told The Beach Reporter that the hardest part about winning the prize was keeping quiet, because the show was taped in March.

“All I could think about is, if I say something I’m going to lose everything,” she told The Beach Reporter. “I didn’t say anything to anybody except: watch the show. Unless you’re a moron, when someone tells you to watch the show, you figure there is at least some camera time.”

Once Baldoni got on stage, a $17.99 bottle of antiseptic stumped her, but when she spun the wheel something crazy happened – she hit the $1 square, instantly winning $1000, then on her bonus spin, landed on the green square worth $10,000, the newspaper reported.
