Marymount Offering Summer School Programs

The college is planning classes for elementary, middle and high school students.

Redondo Beach students who are interested in taking summer school are encouraged to register for classes immediately.

The Redondo Beach Unified School District is offering summer school only to high school students who have failed a class. No summer school classes for elementary or middle school students will be held.

Marymount College is offering summer programs for elementary, middle and high school students. Classes begin June 28 and will be held at Washington School, Adams Middle School and Redondo Union High School.

Marymount provides classes for students who wish to catch up or for those who want to get ahead during the summer.

Marymount is offering the following classes for high school students:

Drama; English 9, 10; Algebra, 1, 2; Geometry; Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry; Chemistry; Biology; and Spanish 1,2

The following classes will be offered for middle school students:

Ceramics, Cartooning, ELD Language Arts, Reading Development, Writing Development, Reading/Writing Workshop, Introduction to French, Cooking Basics, Math Development, Algebra Preparation, Geometry Preparation, Archery, Tae Kwon Do and Introduction to Spanish
