Say goodbye to Garnsey Street—the road in front of a new school administration building has been renamed Sea Hawk Way.
Last week, Redondo City Council approved the name change, which honors Redondo Union High School's mascot. Councilman Pat Aust, an alum of the school, proudly endorsed the move.
The new administration building at the intersection of Garnsey Street and Diamond Street opened earlier this month, and the city wasted no time installing a new sign once the name change was approved.
