The South Bay Children's Choir Returns to El Camino College SBCC to present "Memories & Visions"

"Memories & Visions" is a concert featuring traditional holiday songs from the past and inspiring songs that look to the future.

The South Bay Children’s Choir is set to return for its annual performance in El Camino College’s Marsee Auditorium at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 6. “Memories & Visions” is a concert featuring traditional holiday songs from the past and inspiring songs that look to the future.

The South Bay Children’s Choir is an auditioned group of talented young singers in residence at El Camino College. Co-founded in 1996 by Artistic Director Diane Simons and the late Jane Hardester, the choir is known for its beautiful tone and expressive singing.

The group has performed in outstanding venues throughout the world, including Carnegie Hall, the Canterbury Cathedral, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and Royce Hall at UCLA. Last summer the choir attended the Mile High Music Festival in Denver, Colorado. Auditions are held in January and August. Tickets for “Memories & Visions” are $10 for adults and $7 for children and may be purchased online at centerforthearts.org, by phone at 310-329-5345 or toll-free at 800-832-ARTS. The Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Campus Parking is $3. The El Camino College Marsee Auditorium is located at 16007 Crenshaw Boulevard, Torrance.
