South Bay Galleria Hosts Prom Clothing Drive to Help Teens in Need

Community members are invited to donate dresses and formal attire at South Bay Galleria's Annual Prom Clothing Drive on Saturday, February 7

South Bay Galleria, in partnership with Designing Women South Bay, a women’s guild in support of Working Wardrobes, will host its annual Prom Clothing Drive to collect dresses and formal attire, which will be donated to local teens in need, on Saturday, February 7, 2015.

From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., community members are encouraged to drop off gently used formal dresses, shoes, purses, tuxedos, bowties, cummerbunds, etc., at the South Bay Galleria Food Court located on Level 3.

“Prom is an amazing and memorable milestone in a young person’s life, and through this special event, we are giving local teens the opportunity to look and feel their best,” explains Sher Haddon, Marketing Manager at South Bay Galleria. “This event is particularly special thanks to our continued partnership with Working Wardrobes, an organization that provides many wonderful and life-enhancing services to people in need within our community.”
