South Bay by Jackie Pandemic Survival Guide May 21, 2020

The South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide offers comprehensive coverage of the greater South Bay area.

Woohoo! There are a couple of actual events scheduled for people to physically attend over the next few days! (What to wear, WHAT TO WEAR?) There are also a few fun, live stream events (art, music, wine!), in addition to virtual events providing a variety of support and assistance.
GOOD NEWS: It appears officials are now aiming to re-open LA County by July 4. They claim frustration and fatigue caused by the shutdown is the reason for the new timeline, but you can bet the potential backlash of massive civil unrest was likely the principal motivation propelling that revision. The powers that be are finally listening to their constituents and that’s a very good thing.
On another note, hasn’t the weather been absolutely gorgeous? This time of year, we usually have that pesky marine layer hanging over us, with the sun making a brief appearance just before it sets. Due to the stay-at-home order, I wasn’t dreading May Gray/June Gloom this time around, knowing I’d be stuck inside anyway. Mother Nature sure is throwing us some curve balls this year.
