Labor Day Weekend is about to get underway, and while we all appreciate the long weekend and ensuing short work week, this national holiday foreshadows the end of the summer season. As I mentioned last week, the fall season is chock full of terrific events we can all look forward to, but keep in mind the many recurring events taking place throughout the calendar year…. The Point hosts a series of free workouts every day of
the week; Second Sundays At Two and First Fridays at First present world class musicians in concert; Torrance and Hermosa have monthly drum circles on the beach; Torrance is home to the biweekly Downtown Artisan & Flea Market and monthly Antique Faire; the ADM offers Sunday drives in vintage cars; Strand Brewing celebrates art every Third Friday; and the list goes on and on.
