South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide February 7, 2018
South Bay by Jackie features a comprehensive selection of things to do, places to go and people to know in the South Bay.

It’s impossible to avoid the political mayhem taking place on the federal level, but you may not be aware there’s quite a bit of division in some of our local municipalities. We all know how important it is to make your voice count with your vote, but it’s even more important to know what you’re voting for. (I still can’t believe a majority of Californians actually voted for another gas tax last November.) There are a few Candidate Forums scheduled over the next couple of weeks, and while I don’t know what the formats will be, chances are you’ll get an idea what each of the candidates stand for. There are big issues on the table that will be determined by the voters next month, and now is the time to get informed.
