South Bay By Jackie Weekend Guide July 20, 2017

The South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide offers comprehensive coverage of the greater South Bay area.

Don’t we all look forward to taking a vacation? Travelling to new locations, experiencing various cuisines, learning about different cultures, indulging in a favorite or brand new activity, sleeping late…. all good, right? Not always – especially if your timing causes you to miss a few favorite events happening at home. Sometimes it can’t be helped (but we can always look forward to next year). If you are in town this week, be sure to get out, experience, and enjoy all the South Bay has to offer!
Dine L.A. Restaurant Week is a bi-annual dining event established to introduce diners to the extensive assortment of restaurants in neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles County. Local foodies and visitors to the area will have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of specially priced prix fixe menus from some of LA’s best restaurants during this this period. It should come as no surprise that a variety of restaurants throughout the South Bay will be participating in this culinary event. Some of the restaurants will feature lunch, some will offer dinner and some will present both, so be sure to check the website at http://discoverlosangeles.com/restaurantweekv2/. This is a great opportunity to sample something different and it’s sure to whet your appetite without emptying your wallet! Dine L.A. Summer Restaurant Week takes place over 14 consecutive days and runs from July 14 through July 28. Diners may make a reservation online at http://discoverlosangeles.com/restaurantweekv2/index.jsp or contact the restaurant directly. Due to the popularity of this event, advance reservations are strongly recommended. Walk-ins are welcome but there is no guarantee they can be accommodated.
