South Bay Restaurant Tops Southern California Eateries On Yelp’s Top 100 For 2026

GARDENA, CA — Yelp has released its list of top restaurants across the country for the year, and one South Bay restaurant made the cut.

NAM Kitchen in Gardena is ranked No. 3 on the list, making it the top Southern California eatery included in Yelp’s roundup.

The list, “Yelp’s Top 100 US Restaurants 2026,” was released Wednesday.

“We’ve rounded up the latest drool-worthy, Yelper-loved places to eat — just in time for your 2026 restaurant bucket list,” Yelp said. “Across the US, chefs are plating up memorable, can’t-miss meals at fine-dining rooms, food halls, counter-order favorites, cozy cafes, and wallet-friendly gems that deliver big flavor without the big bill.”

To create the list, Yelp said it “identified businesses in the restaurant category, then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews.”

NAM Kitchen, a modern fusion Vietnamese and Peruvian restaurant, boasts a five-star rating from more than 2,000 reviews, according to its Yelp listing.

The restaurant’s menu features everything from oxtail fried rice to pho.

“NAM kitchen in Gardena is an innovative combination of everything I didn't know I wanted in a restaurant - Vietnamese Peruvian fusion? I'm sold!” one Yelp user wrote.

Yelp’s annual list includes three more Los Angeles County restaurants: Broken Mouth in downtown Los Angeles made the list at No. 7; Greek Bistro in Glendale came in at No. 16; and Tsukiyo Sushi in Los Angeles’ Koreatown came in at No. 17.
