South Bay Woman, 68, With Schizophrenia Missing

CARSON, CA -- A 68-year-old woman who suffers from schizophrenia and has heart problems went missing early Tuesday in Carson.

Gloria Rhee Jamerson was last seen leaving her home around 3 a.m. in the 300 block of East Carson Street, according to Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

Caregivers of Jamerson are concerned and asking for the public's assistance in finding her, Schrader said.

Jamerson is black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 168 pounds, with short black and gray hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a silver and black jacket and tan pants.

Anyone with information about Jamerson's whereabouts was urged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Missing Persons Unit, Sergeant Nunez or Detective Abraham at (323) 890-5500.
