The woman, whose name was not released, was alone in the car when it crashed.

TORRANCE, CA -- A woman was hospitalized in critical condition after crashing a car while driving the wrong way on a Torrance street, police reported Monday.
The black Hyundai sedan crashed about 4:20 a.m. Sunday on 190th Street, just east of Hawthorne Boulevard, said Torrance police Lt. Kyle Goffney.
"The initial investigation indicates the Hyundai was driven by a 39- year-old female, traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of 190th Street ... when it collided with a concrete support pillar in the center median," Goffney said.
