I caution people on both side of this debate to realize that by placing negative comments on the condition of the current state of the Pier or Harbor area, putting alleged negative dining reviews on Yelp of a restaurant owner and supporter of CenterCal’s plan or saying there is no current places to “dine and have a latte” are ONLY hurting the businesses who are trying to make a living for their families and employees. I wish Charlie Szymanski and his wife would have purchased more coffee’s at Neighborhood Grinds so it could have stayed in business on the Pier. Fred’s coffee was great!
The negative war on Pier and Harbor businesses must end and the Redondo Chamber needs to advise some of the supporters for the CenterCal and AES projects that it is counter productive to be bashing great businesses when they have enough to deal with just making payroll each week. If the Chamber fails to support ALL businesses current and future it will fail to be relevant and there will be a new business organization to fill that void.
