Good Friday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report. Well, if you like the small stuff or you're a grom, then go grab a session. We're not seeing much size out there today.
The conditions are starting off nice and clean, with a fairly small mix of energy in the water. There's some residual northwest energy and some minor southerly swell underneath it.
That recipe is offering this stretch of sand some kind of soft, sectiony lines, with a few decent corners on the small wave equipment. Most spots in Redondo Beach are seeing knee- to waist-high waves, with the standout combo breaks pulling maybe a couple of larger sets.

Checking the tides—at 5:20 this morning it drained out to a -0.9-foot low, which will have many spots needing water and a little slow early on. The tide will climb back up to a 3.6-foot high at 12:01 p.m. before dropping again to a 2.4-foot low at 4:19 p.m.
If you're planning on paddling, you'll want to wear no less than a 3/2 mm fullsuit and possibly booties, with the water temperature averaging between 57 and 58 degrees. Good luck out there!
