Surf Report: Increase in Action
Low tide: 1.7 feet, 10:33 a.m. High tide: 4.6 feet, 5:37 p.m. Water temperature: 63-64 degrees.

Good Friday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's nothing to write home about, but we are seeing a bit of an increase from the last couple of days. Overall, it's still on the smaller side, with a few playful-sized waves to be had.
We have some pretty clean conditions early on, with a combination of some holding southwest swell and some northwest windswell in the water. That recipe is offering this stretch of sand some fast, sectiony lines, with some fun workable shoulders.
Most spots in Redondo Beach are pulling knee- to waist-high and higher waves, with the top combo breaks pulling some stomach-high sets.

Checking the tide—at 10:33 a.m. it drops to a 1.7-foot low, which will have some spots a little drained out and inconsistent mid- to late-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.6-foot high at 5:37 p.m.
If you're planning on paddling, a thin full suit is plenty, with the water temperature averaging between a nice 63 and 64 degrees. Have fun out there!
