Surf Report: Nothing Spectacular

High tide: 4.1 feet, 11:08 a.m. Low tide: 1.9 feet, 4 p.m. Water temperature: 65-67 degrees.

Good Friday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report. Well, the water's nothing to write home about. Our latest dose of energy is continuing to lose steam out there, so most spots along this stretch of sand are seeing some small- to maybe playful-sized waves.

The conditions are starting off fairly clean, with some spots seeing a little texture on the surface. We have a combination of mainly easing south-southwest swell and some pretty minor northwest windswell.

That recipe is providing some fast, semi-wally lines, with a few decent shoulders to grab. Most spots in Redondo Beach are seeing knee- to waist-high and higher waves, with the the top spots pulling a few stomach-high and higher sets.

Taking a look at the tide—at 11:08 a.m. it will push up to a 4.1-foot high, which could have some spots a little full mid- to late-morning.  The tide will drop to a 1.9-foot low at 4 p.m.

If you're going to get wet, a thin, short-sleeved full suit will do the job with the water temperature averaging between 65 and 67 degrees.  Good luck out there!
