Surf Report: Sleepy Surf

Low tide: 0 feet, 7:39 a.m. High tide: 3.9 feet, 2:34 p.m. Water temperature: 60-63 degrees.

Good Monday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Redondo Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's looking pretty sleepy out there! You're not going to find much wave activity along this stretch of sand.

We're starting off with some nice and clean conditions with only a very minimal mix of energy in the water. There's some minor south swell and some minimal northwest windswell out there. That recipe is offering some pretty soft and gutless lines, with a few workable ones on a log or an SUP.

Most spots in Redondo Beach are seeing ankle- to knee-high waves, with the top combo breaks pulling a few waist-high sets. Checking the tide—at 7:39 a.m. it dropped to a 0-foot low. It will climb back up to a 3.9-foot high at 2:34 p.m.

If you're itching to get wet, a thin full suit will do the job with the water temperature averaging between 60 and 63 degrees. Good luck out there!
