Wendy Walchenbach Named City Employee of the Year
The 22-year veteran is honored at the City Council meeting Tuesday night.
In recognition of her 22 years of government service, Wendy Walchenbach has been named 2010 City Employee of the Year by the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce.
During her tenure with the city, Walchenbach has served in seven positions and currently leads the housing services division.
Mayor Mike Gin lauded her contribution to the community at the City Council meeting Tuesday night.
