SUNDAY

MONDAY

TUESDAY

A mother of a RUHS baseball player submitted a letter regarding Coach Thurman's sudden resignation.

WEDNESDAY

Incumbent Jane Harman defeated Marcy Winograd in the Democratic primary in the 36^th Congressional District race. Get Tuesday's election results here.

This week's police blotter reported that two minors were arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide and robbery after an altercation near Dale Page Park on June 4.  

Shop Redondo featured a local family of tailors.

THURSDAY

Patch complied an easy-to-follow list of residential recycling services in Redondo Beach.

A Hermosa Beach police officer suffered moderate injuries when his motorcycle collided with a BMW as he was pulling over the vehicle for a traffic violation in Redondo Beach.

Is desalination a solution or a problem? A forum discussed the pros and cons of extracting salt from ocean water to help ease the water shortage in Southern California. 

FRIDAY

You might be surprised to find out what these beachcombers find in the sand. 

Beach Cities Health District and Friends of Redondo Beach Arts hosted an opening reception for the art exhibit "In Motion — The Human Body in Movement."

A federal appellate court ruled that Redondo Beach's ordinance prohibiting day laborers from soliciting work from people in their cars is constitutional.

SATURDAY
