Woman Orders Pizza, Gets 4-Page Threat From Disgruntled Driver
A four-page letter showed up on her doorstep almost a week after she ordered a pizza through the app Postmates.
REDONDO BEACH, CA – A woman received a four-page threatening letter from a delivery driver days after ordering a pizza from the app Postmates and not tipping her delivery driver. Lauren Ledford, of Redondo Beach, contacted the police and is requesting a restraining order, according to KTLA. The supposed tip owed to the driver was a mere $4, which Ledford thought was included in the overall bill.
"I was terrified that he had been stalking me since he returned six days later," Ledford told Patch. "It's been very scary and has changed my entire way of life."
It took Postmates more than 24 hours to respond after Ledford had received the letter, however, when people started tagging the company on Ledford's social media posts about the incident, she was suddenly "flooded with responses," she said. The driver has since been suspended, according to KTLA.

The man who wrote the letter called himself a "disgruntled employee" and admitted to being high. He wrote to Ledford that he needed her "tip money to stay toasty."
“So please, next time tip your delivery driver. And if it turns out that delivery driver is me again, and you do not tip yet again, I’m probably going to rob you. I’m only joking, but not really.”
