Woman Robs South Bay Bank

The FBI is looking for a long-haired woman who used a note to rob a bank on Sepulveda Boulevard in Manhattan Beach.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A woman who robbed a Chase bank in Manhattan Beach was being sought Wednesday by police and the FBI.

The robbery occurred about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday when the suspect entered the bank in the 2600 block of Sepulveda Boulevard and silently passed a note saying she had a gun and demanding cash.

She fled with an undisclosed amount of currency, according to the FBI's Laura Eimiller.

The woman was black, with long, black weaved hair, and wore long dark pants and a dark hoodie.

She has not been immediately linked to any other robberies, Eimiller said.
