The fish was fresh and faintly spicy. The avocado melded well with the fish. The portion size was reasonable, and a good way to begin.

Up next was the family-style pork tenderloin with hunan spices ($12.50) served with a slightly spicy hoisin sauce and tofu. The pork was tender and thankfully not doused in the sauce. Rather, it was lightly coated and did not leave behind a greasy feeling.
The second dish was sweet and tangy chicken ($11.95). The chicken was fried to a golden color and covered with sauce. The meat was evenly cooked which was a plus. Like the pork dish, it did not feel greasy.

Our server was very friendly and laid back. Unfortunately, he had ten tables to cover. He checked on us as much as possible, but obviously had a lot to take care of. Fortunately, the bus boys and food runners were able to take care of the fellow diners and us.
The only drawback was the lack of attention to our drinks. We were only given refills towards the end of the meal. More wait staff would have definitely helped. Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere and hospitality were great.
