Yanagi Offers Sushi in Relaxed Setting

We're fortunate to have quite a few sushi bars in Redondo Beach; in fact, choosing just one can be a difficult task. 

One that's definitely worth a visit is . It's one of the stars of the annual Dine Around Artesia event. If that's not enough to win you over, the atmosphere is very casual and relaxed—just like Redondo Beach.

One of their signature rolls is the tuna tataki, featuring shrimp tempura, crab and cucumber. Another one worth sampling is the Palm Springs roll, a California roll topped with tuna, tomato, cilantro and spicy mayo sauce.

There's plenty of non-sushi choices including udon noodle bowls, short ribs, and teriyaki plates. Be sure to check out their bento box lunches, which offer a wide sampling of their menu.

Yanagi Japanese Bistro is located at 2400 Artesia Blvd. in North Redondo Beach. Average menu price is $12.
