16-Year-Old Boy Arrested In South Bay Teen Homicide: Police
A second suspect was taken into custody in connection with the fatal stabbing, police said.
MILPITAS, CA – A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in Milpitas last week, police announced Friday.
The second suspect, a 16-year-old boy, was taken into custody on Thursday in Ontario, CA, police said.
Detectives said they booked him into the Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall on homicide charges.

The arrest stems from an incident around 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, when officers responded to reports of a fight involving multiple teens near the 240-Block of Vienna Drive. Officers said they found a 17-year-old boy with stab wounds. Despite immediate medical aid from officers and transport to a local trauma center, the victim died at the hospital.
A first suspect, a 17-year-old boy, remained at the scene and was immediately arrested for homicide and assault with a deadly weapon, police said. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall, police said.

Another teen sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the fight and was treated and released from a local hospital.
The Milpitas Police Department stated that this was an isolated incident among the individuals involved and that there is no ongoing threat to the general public.
The incident remains under investigation.
