Now for your sewing machine. You need to oil all metal moving parts before sewing any project especially if the machine has set for more than 2 days. You can not over oil a machine a drop at a time. Be sure to sew on some scrap material before your project so the thread can pic up any excess oil. Check your owners manuel for points to oil. Some books can be found on line for free.
