85-Year-Old Man Reported Missing In Redwood City: Silver Alert
Authorities are asking the public to call 911 if they see the man, who is believed to be traveling on foot.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — Authorities issued a Silver Alert Tuesday for an 85-year-old man who has been missing from Redwood City since Sept. 1.
John Jones was last seen at about noon Sept. 1 in Redwood City, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the Silver Alert on behalf of the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office after being notified Sept. 15.
The latest alert lists his last known location as the area of Sequoia Avenue and Woodside Road. Authorities believe he may be traveling on foot.

Jones is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. His clothing was not known.
Authorities are asking anyone who sees Jones to call 911 immediately.
