Check out this photo from the fall of 1980 of myself and my mother in front of La Boulangerie in Redwood City. Today, Quickly (the bubble tea and fast food shop) occupies the same space.
La Boulangerie had the best shrimp salad sandwiches! They were one of my favorite things to eat in Redwood City back in the 1980s.
I love the cars, the white pants worn by the couple in the background, and my mom's hair. And my mom would probably still fit into that suit!
