• 4 hospitalized, several displaced in Redwood City apartment fire (ktvu.com) — A three-alarm apartment fire on Whipple Avenue in Redwood City Monday afternoon sent four people to the hospital and displaced 23 residents, including two children. Firefighters contained the blaze within about an hour, but several pets died and the cause remains under investigation.    

• Courthouse Docket: Polyester on Parade (Redwood City) (funcheap.com) — A vintage fashion show called Polyester on Parade is coming to the San Mateo County History Museum in downtown Redwood City this Saturday, May 30, at 1 p.m. Volunteers will model pieces from the Millie Collection to explore decades of local style, with admission free for museum members and included with regular tickets for others.
