RWC Wicked 10UC softball team takes championship!

The Redwood City 10C Wicked Softball Team continues to perform well!  The girls participated in the first annual Hot August Nights tournament sponsored by the Castro Valley Synergy the weekend of Aug. 6-7.  They made it to the championship game and won!

"Our team played great!  The girls were fantastic, defensively they played awesome, they ran the bases well, they hit the ball well" said Coach Riad Agel.

The Redwood City Softball League continues to help young girls develop into great softball players and teammates under the guidance of parent volunteers.  See http://rcgsl.org/index.html for more info.

For you softball fans out there, here are some details from the tournament.

"It was definitely a learning experience.  We started slow a little bit, we got our feet wet, and we picked it up pretty good at the end.  We finished really, really strong" said Coach Riad Agel.

Way to go Redwood City Wicked 10UC!  Keep up the great work.
