Bayshore Elite Gymnastics earn 1st at Vineyard Classic
Level 3 team awarded 1st place as their successful season continues.
Redwood City’s Bayshore Elite Gymnastics Junior Olympic competitive team brought home top honors last weekend from the Vineyard Classic where for two days 20 clubs from all over Northern California competed for individual medals and team awards.
The Bayshore Elite Level 3 team was awarded 1st place team with a score of 112.325.
Bayshore Elite’s Level 3 athletes took the top 5 all-around spots on the podium with 1st place going to Lauren Zamiska, 37.725AA; 2nd place to Laila Krong, 37.275AA; 3rd place to Michelle Gonzalez, 37.075AA; 4th going to Olivia Langridge, 36.725AA; and 5th place earned by Dominique Kallstrom with a score of 36.625AA.
Level 4 was awarded the 3rd place team award with a score of 110.555.
Individual highlights scoring top-3 for Level 4 include: Amanda Chappelle, 1st on beam 9.550, 2nd on bars 9.650// Anna Lemkin, 3rd on bars 9.200, 3rd on floor(younger) 9.200// Madison Truby, 3rd on floor(older) 9.425// Alexis Boyle, 1st on vault 9.350// Lucy D’Errico, 3rd on vault 9.225.
The Level 5 team also brought home the 3rd place team award with a score of 107.250.
Congratulations to the Level 5 team of three incredible athletes who battled for the third place team win over much larger teams in the meet.
