Meet a Rescue Dog at Woodside Plaza Pet Food Express Saturday

CARDA - CA Rescue Dogs Association.  Not 'rescued dogs' but Search and Rescue dogs - meaning we go with our own trained dogs to search for missing people.  Where?  Throughout the entire state of CA.  Meet one Saturday, May 5 at Woodside Plaza Pet Food Express!

CARDA is a non-profit, volunteer search and rescue group - we often drive hundreds of miles through the dark to search for someone missing.  We pay for all of our own gear, dog expenses, travel, etc.  But despite the expense and time spent training and searching, all of us remember one thing.  "So that others may live."  And when we unite the missing child who was lost overnight (!) with their parents, it makes it all worthwhile.

You have the chance to help support us this Saturday!  At any Pet Food Express, if you buy a self dog-wash token, all of the proceeds this day will go to CARDA.  Plus your dog gets sweet smelling and squeaky clean.  You can either wash your dog on Saturday or you can buy tokens for a rainy day (dogs - rain, not a good combo!).

The is awesome!  There is nothing better after searching for hours in the mud and rain to stop there and clean a happy, tired and decidingly dirty dog before we head home to sleep.  The people there are helpful and so friendly to us every time we go there.  And to donate the entire costs of the tokens to CARDA - awesome!  We just love everybody there.
