FREE College, Career, & Community Fair, October 1, 2026
Thinking about going to college but don’t know where to begin? No idea what career path you’d like to follow? Wondering what resources are offered to the local community?
Whether you or your student are looking to attend a four year university or the local community college, or are interested in exploring various careers, please join us at our College, Career, & Community Fair event and get your questions answered!
Hosted by College Advising Prep, Redwood City Park and Rec, Cañada Community College, Redwood City PAL Center, and Sequoia High School.
The fair will feature:
Presentation: Pathways to College Presentation (offered in the MPR)
College Expo: A dedicated area for college and university representatives to showcase their institutions, academic programs, and campus life. This is an excellent opportunity for you to engage directly with college representatives and gather information about higher education prospects.
Career Exploration: A section where local businesses and organizations will provide insights into various industries and potential career paths. This will help students gain a comprehensive understanding of the different professional options available to them.
- Community Engagement: A chance for community organizations to share their initiatives, opportunities, and resources, enabling students and families to connect with their community and make a positive impact.
When: Thursday, October 1st, from 6:15pm to 8:00pm (PST)
Where: Sequoia High School GYM 3, 1201 Brewster Ave, Redwood City, CA
Timeline:
- 6:15-8:00 pm: College and Organization Reps will be available for Q & A with families and their students in GYM 3
- 6:15-6:45 pm: Pathways to College presentation (in the MPR)
