Catch the Action at New Sequoia Gym

After months of dust and debris settling over the Sequoia High School campus, finally, the wait is over. No longer are there cranes, dumptrucks, or construction workers invading the James Street parking lot; instead, a brand-new, state of the art sports complex now dominates the horizon, standing out against a background of historical buildings that comprise of the rest of the campus.

Since the gym's Opening Ceremony on Jan. 12, the building has become a hot-spot for Sequoia and community events, including wrestling matches, basketball games, and rallies. This week's View Finder highlights Tuesday's Girls Basketball game vs. Capuchino High School, providing a look at the players as they compete in their new home, victorious by a final score of 36-22 .
