Conviction In Kim Kardashian Look-Alike Model Death Reached In Bay Area: Report

BURLINGAME, CA — A cosmetologist has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of OnlyFans model, who died after receiving illegal butt injections in a Burlingame hotel room, according to a report by KRON4.

Vivian Alexandra Gomez, 53, was convicted Monday by a San Mateo County jury on felony counts of involuntary manslaughter, practicing medicine without a license, and inflicting great bodily injury, KRON4 reported.

Christina Ashten Gourkani, 34, of San Jose, was known for emulating Kim Kardashian and had amassed a following of half a million on Instagram and an OnlyFans page.

The fatal procedure occurred on April 19, 2023, when Gourkani met with Gomez in a room at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront for an "illegal gluteal silicone injection," a form of body contouring, KRON4 reported.

The model quickly became ill, and her fiancé called 911, but she died the following day from respiratory failure and a pulmonary embolism, according to the report.

Gomez flew back to Florida, where she was arrested on April 20, 2023, extradited to the Bay Area, and later found guilty of involuntary manslaughter after three hours of jury deliberation.

Gomez will remain in a San Mateo County jail until her sentencing hearing on May 5, where she faces a maximum of seven years in state prison.
