Dad's Camellias: Photo Of The Week
These pink camellias offer beauty on days when the news is otherwise bleak.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — In the 1950s and 60s, camellia bushes were a common sight in Bay Area yards, and many are still thriving. Kathy Parara snapped this photo of her father's pink camellias.
