Death Near Redwood City Probed
The 55-year-old man's body whose body was found at a commercial building that housed chemicals.

NORTH FAIR OAKS, CA – Authorities are investigating the death of a 55-year-old man whose body was found at a commercial building where chemicals are housed, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.

The man’s body was found Nov. 17 at 7:35 a.m. at a building in 800 block of Hurlingame Ave. in an industrial area in unincorporated North Fair Oaks, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Redwood City Fire Department Haz-Mat team members determined that the chemicals are contained within the building and are not a threat to the public, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The man's name has not yet been released.
Detectives have not found evidence of foul play but the case remains under investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said.
