DID YOU KNOW That You Still Have Three Opportunities to Watch The US National Soccer Team Play Before They Leave for The World Cup In Brazil?

US National Men's Soccer Coach Jurgen Klinsmann surprised everyone last week by naming the final roster of 23 players a week earlier then expected.   Barring any last minute injuries the final roster consists of:

Goalkeepers (3): Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Tim Howard (Everton), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)

Defenders (8): DaMarcus Beasley (Puebla), Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City), John Brooks (Hertha Berlin), Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Timmy Chandler (Nurnberg), Omar Gonzalez (LA Galaxy), Fabian Johnson (Borussia Monchengladbach), DeAndre Yedlin (Seattle Sounders FC)

Midfielders (8): Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Alejandro Bedoya (Nantes), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Brad Davis (Houston Dynamo), Mix Diskerud (Rosenborg), Julian Green (Bayern Munich), Jermaine Jones (Besiktas), Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City)

Forwards (4): Jozy Altidore (Sunderland), Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders FC), Aron Johannsson (AZ Alkmaar), Chris Wondolowski (Earthquakes)

The surprise being of course that Chris Wondolowski is going and Landon Donovan isn't.  By announcing a week in advance Klinsmann allowed the team, the press and the public to wrap their heads around the dynamics of the new team composition.

Now it is time to practice and prepare as a team.  The public has three opportunities during the Send off Series to watch the team play before they leave for Brazil:

May 27, 7 PM PT USA vs Azerbaijan, Candlestick Park; San Francisco, CA
Telecast on: ESPN2, WatchESPN, Univison Deportes

June 1, 2 PM ET USA vs Turkey Red Bull Arena; Harrison, NJ
Telecast on: ESPN2, WatchESPN, Univision, Univision Deportes

June 7,  6 PM ET USA vs Nigeria EverBank Field; Jacksonville, FL
Telecast on: ESPN, WatchESPN, UniMás

Then off to Brazil, World Cup fever and Group G or what has been called the Group of Death.  No matter what we get to watch them play at least three games:

June 16,  6 PM ET USA vs Ghana Estadio das Dunas; Natal, Brazil
Telecast: ESPN, WatchESPN

June 22,  6 PM ET USA vs Portugal Arena Amazona; Manaus, Brazil
Telecast: ESPN, WatchESPN

June 26, 12 PM ET USA vs Germany Arena Pernambuco; Recife, Brazil
Telecast: ESPN, WatchESPN

So the question is how far will they go? Will Wondolowski make a difference?  What do you think?
