Double Victory for Sequoia Water Polo

Both boys' and girls' team beat Santa Teresa High School Wednesday night.

In a fast-paced game, the Boys prevailed over Santa Teresa in their second pre-season match-up. Sophomore George Archbold and senior Marley Edwards led the Cherokees with 6 and 5 goals, respectively.  

Junior goalie Sammie Gembala (8 saves) led the Lady Cherokees to a win at the first pre-season game of the year.  Senior Brianna Carroll scored 3 goals and sophomore Sam Peyton contributed 2.  The teams may meet again this Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Sequoia High School Girls Water Polo Invitational Tournament to be held at the Sequoia High School pool.
