Documentary Film - Climate Refugees

Climate Refugees is a 90 minute documentary which puts a human face on the problem of migration due to climate change. Did you know that the International Organization for Migration estimated climate change would drive a billion people worldwide from their homes in the next four decades? What does that look like and what will it mean?

Film director Michael Nash and his crew traveled around the world, including Bangladesh, the South Pacific, India, Texas, China, New Orleans, Sudan and Chad, to places where rising sea levels, droughts, and coastal erosion, among other things, are forcing residents to migrate beyond their homelands.  Whether you believe that climate change is human caused or natural, it's contributing to political and economic instability around the world, including North America.
