
Concert soloist, recording artist, studio musician and composer Laurence Juber is a two-time Grammy award-winning guitarist, also known for his studio work and as lead guitarist in Sir Paul McCartney's Wings. Juber has released 20 acclaimed solo albums which feature his celebrated arrangements of popular tunes and his own genre-crossing compositions.
He was voted "Guitarist of the Year" by the readers of Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine and named one of the top acoustic guitar players of all time by Acoustic Guitar Magazine.
A dynamic, entertaining performer and an accomplished clinician, LJ brings his passion for the guitar to venues around the world, creating a multifaceted performance that belies the use of only one instrument.
As a recording musician, he has contributed to the soundtracks of such movies as the academy award-winning 'Dirty Dancing', 'Good Will Hunting' and 'Pocahontas', as well as the current 'Muppet Movie'. His playing is featured on hundreds of TV shows from 'Happy Days' to 'Home Improvement', 'Seventh Heaven' and 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager' as well as recordings from artists as diverse as Seal, Dan Hicks & the Hot Licks and Barry Manilow.
As a composer, Juber has recently contributed the soundtrack of the new Activision/Blizzard Entertainment video game 'Diablo III'. His music is also featured in the Ken Burns documentary 'The Tenth Inning' and his original soundtrack to the NBC documentary 'Children of the Harvest'.
