The Redwood City Police Activities League and the Police Officers'and Firefighters' Association need volunteers to help wrap thousands of toys and books at the group's annual Wrapping Party.
Volunteers will wrap gifts collected in donation barrels around town. The presents will be distributed to underprivileged local kids.
Businesses also can help by donating money to buy toys, or setting out a donation barrel where individuals can leave toys and books. Donations of light refreshments or drinks for the Wrapping Party are welcome, too.
