Faulty Traffic Signals On Peninsula Created Traffic Problems

LOS ALTOS, CA — Traffic signals malfunctioning was the order of the day for Monday's Peninsula-area drive.

First, the lights were not behaving correctly at the busy intersection of Woodside and Middlefield roads, prompting a headache for Monday morning commuters traveling through Woodside.

Later on, Los Altos experienced a problem with stop lights at the hectic intersection of University and El Monte avenues not functioning in the right way. Maintenance crews responded.
