FREEBIE ALERT: First Day Of Spring Will Mean Free Italian Ice At Rita's In Nearby San Carlos

Rita’s Italian Ice will mark the first day of spring -- March 20 -- with free Italian Ice treats for customers.

The spring giveaway is a 24-year-old tradition for Rita’s and will be offered at all Rita’s shops coast to coast, including the San Carlos operation.

Customers are encouraged to snap a photo of their “cool treat” and share it on Instagram and Twitter using #RitasFirstDayOfSpring to enter into the Rita’s First Day of Spring Photo Contest.

All customers who use the hashtag from March 20-March 25 will be entered to win free Rita’s Italian Ice for a year. Three winners will be chosen by a panel of judges and announced on Rita’s social media channels on March 31. To view the official rules, visit www.ritasice.com/fdoscontestrules/.
