Get Free Wendy's Frostys For a Year: 2017 Key Tags Now Available

Here's how to score this sweet deal.

Frosty lovers, rejoice! Wendy's is at it again, bringing back the popular 'key tag' program that will help you score free treats throughout the new year.

For the fourth year in a row, participating restaurants are now selling special key fobs that allow the holder to claim a free Jr. Frosty Treat every time he or she returns to the eatery and make a purchase through 2017. (May we suggest pairing that lovely treat with a side of fries?)

The tag costs $2 and to make the deal even sweeter, 90 percent of the money goes the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Started by Wendy’s Founder Dave Thomas, who was adopted himself, the DTFA works in communities across the U.S. and Canada to help dramatically increase the number of adoptions for children in foster care.

"For just $2, you can support a foster child waiting for their forever home while enjoying a year of free Jr Frosty Treats," the company says. "It's a gift to yourself or a stocking stuffer for a Frosty fan in your life."

The price of the tags used to be just $1, but have been upped to $2 this year.

The tags are only around as long as supplies last, so get them before they melt away. You can find your closest Wendy's here.
