Gymnastics: Bayshore Elite bring home big wins from Surf Classic

The Junior Olympic L3, L4 and L5 teams from Bayshore Elite competed last weekend at the Surf Classic, hosted by Byers Roseville. Levels 4 and 5 competed together to bring home the First Place Team award – congratulations to all the athletes – each score adds to big wins for the team.
The Level 3 Team was led by:
Lauren Zamiska: Scoring over a 9.5 on all events, taking 2nd all-around with a score of 38.275.
Michelle Gonzalez: Taking 1st on vault, bars, and beam earning 1st all-around in her age group scoring 38.200.
Laila Krong: 1st on floor, 2nd on vault, bars and beam, taking 2nd all-around with a score of 38.075.
The Level 4 Team was led by:
Amanda Chappelle: A stellar performance, 1st place on vault, bars, beam and floor, taking 1st all-around with a score of 38.100.
Anna Lemkin: 2nd on vault, 1st on bars, 2nd on beam, 2nd on floor for 1st all-around in her age category with a score of 37.375.
Faith Chow: Took 2nd all-around with a score of 37.050.
The Level 5 Team was led by:
Kennedy Behrens: With an exceptional bar routine taking 1st place with 9.725, taking 2nd all-around with a score of 37.700.
Lola Robinson: 2nd all-around in her age category with a score of 37.075.

Levels 3, 4 and 5 will compete next on Nov. 1 at the Novato Fall Classic, in Novato, CA.
