Man Killed In North Fair Oaks Shooting: Sheriff
Deputies found a 22-year-old Polynesian male suffering from gunshot wounds around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 400 block of 5th Avenue in North Fair Oaks late Tuesday night.
In a statement on Twitter, the department determined the shooting was a homicide and a detective identified the victim as a 22-year-old Polynesian male, who deputies found had suffered from gunshot wounds.
“They attempted all life saving measures, but unfortunately they were unable to save him,” said Detective Rosemerry Blankswade in a video on Twitter.

Blankswade asked the public to stay out of the area on 5th Avenue between Park Road and Middlefield Road while the sheriff’s office processes the crime scene.
