Headley to oversee team of 33 attorneys.

Fish & Richardson has announced that Michael Headley has been named managing partner of its Silicon Valley office. As managing partner, Headley will oversee all aspects of the Silicon Valley office, from long-range strategic planning to day-to-day administration, as well as leading a team of 33 attorneys.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to help guide Fish’s Silicon Valley office,” said Headley. “We view this region as having significant growth potential for our firm as we continue to meet the legal needs and protect the IP of clients in the Bay Area and throughout the world.”
Headley’s practice emphasizes complex disputes and intellectual property across a broad range of technologies. He has tried cases and counseled clients through matters involving patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, unfair competition and other technology-related issues in courts from Delaware to San Francisco to China. Last year, Headley obtained a $139 million verdict for Power Integrations against Fairchild Semiconductor, the second-largest jury verdict in California in 2015.
