Residents who were in downtown Redwood City Thursday night received a pleasant surprise as the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile pulled up right outside .

Driver Danica Schmidt was visiting her cousin, Redwood City resident Ernie Schmidt, while driving on a Northwest tour of the US.

Parked in front of Sakura, patrons paused from their meals to take photos with the mobile.
